I think that speak in other language is very important because you can relate to foreign or native people; it depends on where you are. Some research, have shown that the best age to learn a foreign language are children, because they learn more easily than adults, but the older people, is harder to learn to speak a new language as well as a native speaker.If you want to be a bilingual man, you have to put your maximum effort, be able to learn new things, and take a good course of the language that you want to learn. Being a bilingual would be good to your future, because can help you in your job.

I'm going to put emphasis on something that you mentioned:

In my opinion that's true, because when you are a child your brain is more capable to learn and keep things. In my experience I can say that when I was a child I always was exposed to English and I believe that it helped me a lot to learn and to know all the things that I know right now. On the other hand my sister wasn't exposed to this language when she was a child so when she grew up she didn't know anything about English and now she understands a 20% of what she listen or read. So that's why I agree with that theory.
